Why Choose Saudi Arabia for Filipino Workers?

Saudi Arabia hosts the largest Filipino community in the Gulf, and its recruitment framework — MHRSD block visas, the Musaned and Qiwa platforms, Enjaz visa stamping and the Wage Protection System — is well understood on both sides, making deployment predictable when the file is prepared properly.

Filipino workers are recognised across the Gulf for technical ability, strong English and a service mindset — a natural fit for Saudi projects, hotels, hospitals, malls and logistics hubs, where multicultural teams and high service standards are the norm.

Fully Managed Process

Praxis gives Saudi employers direct access to this workforce through a fully managed, compliant and efficient recruitment process — from MWO accreditation and sourcing to the MHRSD block visa, Musaned and Qiwa contracts, Enjaz visa stamping and the Iqama.

Why Hire Filipino Workers

Built for Saudi Operations

Quality, compliance and long-term workforce stability — the reasons Saudi employers keep coming back.

Skilled and Experienced

Every candidate is screened for trade skills, certifications and real site, plant, hotel or clinical experience — including prior Gulf deployments — before shortlisting.

English Proficient

Filipino workers communicate confidently in English, the working language of most Saudi projects, hotels, clinics and service operations, which shortens onboarding.

Adaptable and Reliable

Recognised across the Gulf for discipline, service orientation and the ability to integrate quickly into multicultural teams and Saudi working conditions.

Fully Compliant

Every placement is made in full compliance with Philippine DMW regulations and Saudi labour and immigration law, minimising employer risk.

Accreditation Handled

We prepare the MWO accreditation, authenticate company documents and align the Musaned and Qiwa records with the verified contract before candidates are committed, so the file does not stall at the gating step.

Scalable Supply

Whether you need 5 workers or 500, Praxis delivers on time and to your exact specifications.

Work Permit and Visa Process

Saudi Arabia runs a platform-driven sponsorship system: the employer secures the MHRSD block visa within its Nitaqat band, registers the work permit and employment relationship on Qiwa, issues the digital contract through Musaned, and has the recruitment documents authenticated at the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Saudi Embassy in Manila before the visa is stamped through Enjaz. After arrival, biometrics, the Iqama, GOSI and insurance complete the file. On the Philippine side the employer must be accredited with the Migrant Workers Office in Riyadh, Jeddah or Alkhobar, and the contract must be verified before deployment. Praxis runs the accreditation, the contract alignment, the visa file and DMW clearance as one connected process.

What happens inside the lane

Typical range: 6–12 weeks
  1. 01Job Order Approval (DMW)

Recruitment opens only after the job order is verified under Philippine DMW rules — employer documents, manpower request and the model employment contract are cleared first.

  2. 02MWO Accreditation (Riyadh, Jeddah or Alkhobar)

The employer is accredited with the Philippine Migrant Workers Office covering its region — Riyadh, Jeddah or Alkhobar. Commercial registration, Chamber of Commerce documents, company profile and a signed recruitment agreement are authenticated and submitted. Praxis manages the accreditation file end-to-end.

  3. 03Block Visa Authorisation (MHRSD)

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development approves the employer’s visa quota (block visa) for the job title and nationality, subject to the establishment’s Nitaqat/Saudization band. Praxis checks the quota and the establishment’s standing before candidates are committed.

  4. 04Qiwa Work Permit and Establishment File

The work permit and employment relationship are registered on the Qiwa platform, and the establishment file must be active and compliant. Praxis verifies the job title on Qiwa matches the contract and the visa authorisation — mismatches are the most common cause of rejected files.

  5. 05Musaned Contract and Recruitment Order

The recruitment demand and the digital employment contract are issued through Musaned, the official recruitment platform, and matched line by line to the DMW-verified contract: salary, working hours, overtime, leave, accommodation, transport, food allowance, medical cover and end-of-service benefits.

  6. 06Authentication and Visa Authorisation Number

The power of attorney, demand letter, recruitment agreement and contract are authenticated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Royal Saudi Embassy in Manila, and the visa authorisation number is released to Praxis for candidate nomination.

  7. 07Qualification, Licence and Trade Testing

Diplomas, trade certificates and experience letters are attested and, where required, candidates pass the Skill Verification Programme (professional verification) test. Regulated roles are licensed before deployment — SCFHS classification and Prometric for healthcare, and third-party trade tests for technical roles.

  8. 08Medical Examination and Visa Stamping

Candidates pass the medical examination at a GAMCA/GCC-accredited clinic in the Philippines, then the employment visa is stamped through Enjaz and the Saudi visa application centre in Manila.

  9. 09DMW Processing

In parallel, Praxis completes Philippine-side requirements — contract verification at the MWO, Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and DMW clearances.

  10. 10PDOS and Pre-Departure Orientation

Candidates attend the mandatory Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar and the country-specific orientation covering the contract, their rights under Saudi labour law and the Labour Reform Initiative, and Saudi workplace and cultural expectations.

  11. 11Arrival, Iqama and Onboarding

After arrival the employer completes biometrics and issues the Iqama (residence permit) within the statutory window, registers the worker with GOSI and medical insurance, and updates Absher and Muqeem. Praxis coordinates airport handover and accommodation.

  12. 12Payroll, WPS and Ongoing Compliance

Wages must be paid through the Wage Protection System each month against the registered Qiwa contract. Under the Labour Reform Initiative, workers may transfer employment, obtain exit/re-entry and final exit visas under defined conditions. Praxis tracks Iqama validity, renewals and contract milestones so the workforce stays legal for the full contract.

Typical timeline
Week 1–2

Intake, MWO accreditation and DMW job order

Week 2–4

Block visa, Musaned demand and authentication

Week 3–6

Sourcing, interviews, trade tests and GAMCA medical

Week 5–10

Enjaz visa, OEC, PDOS, travel and Iqama

Actual timing depends on whether your company is already accredited with the MWO, your block visa and Nitaqat position, authentication and Enjaz processing times, whether the role needs Skill Verification Programme testing or licensing (for example SCFHS classification for nurses), medical results and flight availability. Praxis keeps each dependency visible and re-checks the current rules before committing to a date.
