Who we are
Praxis International Staffing and Management Inc. is the data controller for personal information processed through this website and our recruitment operations. We are licensed by the Philippine Department of Migrant Workers (DMW-463-LB-12262024-R) and process personal data in line with Republic Act 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012) and, where applicable to EU-bound placements, the GDPR.
Data we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- Applicant data — name, contact details, date of birth, nationality, address, passport and ID data, CV, education, work history, trade certificates, references and photographs.
- Deployment data — medical clearance status, visa and permit records, OEC and contract details required by DMW and destination-country authorities.
- Employer data — company details, contact persons, job orders and accreditation documents.
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referral source, collected via cookies and analytics.
Why we process your data
- To assess your application and match you with suitable overseas vacancies.
- To present verified candidate profiles to prospective employers.
- To complete MWO accreditation, visa, medical, PDOS and OEC requirements.
- To comply with DMW, immigration, tax and anti-illegal-recruitment obligations.
- To communicate updates, interview schedules and deployment instructions.
- To improve our website and measure the performance of our campaigns.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent when you submit an application, on the performance of a contract once you are engaged or deployed, on legal obligation for government-mandated records, and on our legitimate interest in operating and securing our recruitment services.
International transfers
Because we deploy workers to Europe, the GCC, the UK and North America, your data will be transferred outside the Philippines. Transfers are made under contractual safeguards requiring the recipient to protect your data to a standard comparable with Philippine and EU law.
How long we keep data
- Active applicant records: for the duration of the recruitment process and while your profile remains in our talent pool.
- Deployment and contract records: retained as required by DMW and labour regulations.
- Unsuccessful applications: kept for up to 24 months so we can contact you about new roles, unless you ask us to delete them earlier.
Security
We apply access controls, encryption in transit, role-based permissions in our recruitment systems, and staff confidentiality training. Physical documents are held in secured storage at our Philippine office. No system is perfectly secure, but we review our safeguards regularly.
Your rights
You have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to erase or block, to object, to data portability, to damages, and to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.
