What actually changes your take-home pay

Tax and social contributions

European contracts are quoted gross. Expect 15–35% deductions depending on the country and your family status.

Accommodation and transport

Employer-provided housing and shuttle transport are worth €200–€500 a month that never leaves your salary.

Overtime and shift premiums

Regulated overtime rates often add 20–30% on top of base pay in manufacturing and construction.

Remittance costs

Bank and remittance spreads typically cost 1–3% against the mid-market rate shown here.

Salary and currency questions

How accurate are these exchange rates?

Rates come from the European Central Bank reference feed and refresh at least twice a day. They are mid-market rates — the amount that lands in a Philippine bank account after remittance fees and the provider's spread will be slightly lower.

Is the salary shown gross or net?

Whatever you type in. European contracts are normally quoted gross, before income tax and social contributions. Gulf contracts are usually tax-free, so gross and net are close to identical.

Do allowances count?

Free accommodation, transport, meals and overtime can add 20–40% to the real value of a contract. The calculator converts base pay only — always read the full contract.

How are recruitment costs handled?

As a DMW-licensed agency we follow DMW regulations on recruitment costs. Everything applicable is disclosed in writing before you sign, with official receipts for any legitimate payment.

Which currencies can I convert?

All the currencies our workers are actually paid in: euro, złoty, koruna, forint, leu, lev, pound, the Nordic kronor and krone, Swiss franc, dirham, riyal, US and Canadian dollars, Australian dollar, yen, Singapore and Hong Kong dollars.
